Job Description / Duties

Position Description: The field of specialization for this position is open. This position will also serve as the Stage Director for the Vocal Performance Program.

Responsibilities: Teach and advise undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students; direct departmental productions (i.e. operas and musicals); participate in advancement and administration of the program and department in service to the University; participate in faculty meetings, serve on committees, and provide other service to the University.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications: Candidates with a record of stage direction for opera and/or musical theatre at the professional level, with or without academic experience are highly encouraged to apply. A master’s degree or higher terminal degree will be taken into consideration in conjunction with a high level of professional and academic experience.
