Voice Faculty—Two Positions

The Conservatory of Music at Baldwin Wallace announces two full-time, tenure-track positions in Voice beginning in August 2014. The Conservatory Voice Department is led by a talented and dedicated group of full- and part-time artist/faculty, all of whom teach gifted young singers with majors that include vocal performance, music theatre, music education, music therapy, composition, and liberal arts. The Department seeks colleagues who are first and foremost teachers, who possess a thorough understanding of the voice and are committed to undergraduate education. Successful candidates must be versatile in their teaching approaches, responsive to the respective needs of the Department’s many programs, and genuinely curious about teaching and student learning. The Department is highly selective in its admissions and values recruitment efforts as an ongoing priority. Additional responsibilities may be assigned depending on the candidate’s expertise and interests. Significant achievement as a successful teacher of college-age students is required; professional performance experience and advanced degrees preferred.
