Tahoma Chapter Fall Workshop - Coaching French Lyric Diction

The Tahoma Chapter of NATS presents our Fall workshop, "Coaching French Lyric Diction," Elizabeth Brodovitch, presenter.
Ms. Brodovitch edited and recorded the French and German chapters of "Diction for Singers," 2nd Edition (Redmond WA: Caldwell Publishing, 2012). Topics will include: "What makes French so different from English?" "Following the sounds to the heart of the text," "Music or Text? The Rhythmic Enigma of French Word Stress in the Mélodies of Gabriel Fauré," and will finish with a master class.
All are invited to attend. The workshop will take place at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
