Submission Guidelines Session Proposals for 2014 NATS National Conference Proposals for breakout sessions at the 2013 NATS National Conference are now being accepted. Please follow the format outlined below in preparing your proposal: Proposals must include: 1) Title page with the following information: a. Session title b. Contact information, including name, mailing address, phone number and valid email address for all primary presenters and accompanying personnel (pianists,singers, etc.) c. Presentation category (e.g. voice literature, pedagogy, voice science, private studio, technology, career development, non-classical pedagogy and/or literature, etc.) d. List of support needed for the presentation (e.g. projector for Power Point, piano, singers, audio or video playback**) e. An abstract describing the content of your session (150 words maximum) 2) Narrative describing your session in greater detail (two pages maximum) 3) Bio or resume detailing your qualifications to make this presentation (one page maximum) The information from points 1-3 must be compiled in a single digital file in .doc or .rtf format. The primary presenter’s name must be included in the filename (e.g. John_Doe_NATS_proposal.doc)
4) One letter of recommendation from a NATS member in good standing supporting your specific session proposal (one page maximum—may be included with the proposal or sent directly by the person making the recommendation to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
