CCNATS Fall Workshops provide our members with opportunities for continuing education on a variety of topics, utilizing local professional talent when possible. While these workshops are designed for teachers of singing, students are always welcomed and encouraged to attend.
This Fall, we present a Panel Discussion on the topic, “The Adaptable Singer.” Our panel participants have varied experiences in multiple musical disciplines, classical and beyond, and will lead us in conversation about being a flexible singer in the 21st century. Lively discussion guaranteed!
The second segment features Karen Wicklund: An overview of Singing Voice Specialist Programs (SVS): Knowledge and Skills needed for working with singers with voice disorders.

"It's an exciting time to be a NATS member. While other professional associations are cutting back on member services for voice teachers, NATS keeps adding benefits and partnerships for members and students. I'm excited about the new music theater competition, the Orlando conference, and the partnership with Carnegie Hall - The Achievement Program - to mention a few. To borrow Joan Boytim'a phrase, I'm more 'nuts about NATS' than ever!" -Cynthia Vaughn, proud NATS member since 1984
