NATS Announces New Member Benefit: AuditionsPlus Online Auditions Search Tool

National Association of Teachers of Singing added yet another benefit for its members today: exclusive, free access to the AuditionsPlus online auditions search tool. AuditionsPlus allows NATS members and their students to find paying jobs for opera, choruses, music theater,  and more, as well as information for YAPs, summer programs, and university programs.

“Our partnership with AuditionsPlus allows NATS members and their students to search audition listings within the AuditionsPlus database at no cost to them,” says Allen Henderson, NATS Executive Director. “Through partnerships such as these, we are able to bring additional value to NATS membership as we seek to provide the tools and training that successful voice teachers need. AuditionsPlus has recently expanded its listings to include additional regional theater and music theater auditions, so this tool is useful for those who teach non-classical styles as well.”

While there are subscription-based features on AuditionsPlus, NATS members are able to do a basic search of listings at no cost when they use the link specifically provided for NATS members: www.AuditionsPlus.com/nats. Look for the new AuditionsPlus button on the NATS website to link quickly. When you share this link with your students, remind them to include the “slash nats” after “AuditionsPlus.com.” By mid- to late-January, the AuditionsPlus button on the NATS website will be the only way that non-subscribers will be able to access the AuditionsPlus listings for free.

You do not have to sign up or enter your email address on the AuditionsPlus website unless you want to sign up for daily audition alerts.   Additional features available from AuditionsPlus for an annual subscription fee include customized email alerts, the ability to save and organize listings, and track dates on your calendar.
