The 52nd National Calendar has just ended, but your opportunities for continuing education have not! Here at the National Association of Teachers of Singing office, we're already busy planning the next events. With that in mind, here is a list of upcoming events for you to add to your calendars and save the dates!

The first National Music Theater Competition Finals were held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Orlando, FL as part of the 52^nd National Conference.  Six performers advanced from the semifinal round to compete in the final competition.

The 42^nd NATS Artist Awards Competition Finals were held on Friday, June 29, 2012 in conjunction with the 52^nd National Conference.  Six singers advanced from the semifinal round to compete in the final competition.

What happens when hundreds of singing teachers descend on The Orlando Renaissance at SeaWorld Resort? Lots of beautiful sounds! Beginning with the preconference workshops and carrying through when the conference draws to a close on Tuesday July 3, 2012 the ballrooms, halls, and corridors of the resort have been filled with the sounds of reunions with old friends, new friendships forming knowledge exchange, and of course music.

Composer Melissa Dunphy is the winner of the 2012 NATS Art Song Composition Award. Dunphy, a nationally acclaimed award-winning composer, has composed in a wide range of styles and mediums, but specializes in theatrical and political vocal music.
