The iconic performer Florence Henderson has a new award to add to her list of accolades—She is the first ever recipient of the National Association of Teachers of Singing Lifetime Achievement Award.  Ms. Henderson was presented with this award on July 2, 2012 during the NATS 52^nd National Conference in Orlando, Florida. The award honors her career and legacy as an accomplished singer and performer.

The 52nd National Calendar has just ended, but your opportunities for continuing education have not! Here at the National Association of Teachers of Singing office, we're already busy planning the next events. With that in mind, here is a list of upcoming events for you to add to your calendars and save the dates!

The first National Music Theater Competition Finals were held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Orlando, FL as part of the 52^nd National Conference.  Six performers advanced from the semifinal round to compete in the final competition.
