VOICE-PIANO TEACHERS

ArtReach Educational Theatre is presently adding voice - piano teachers for our upcoming sessions. We presently have 2 teachers in place and are looking to add a third. We are based out of Palatine and lessons are taught in the music room of the Bethel Lutheran Church, located at 3839 W. Frontage Road in Palatine.

Seeking individuals who would be interested in teaching private voice & piano lessons in the following time slots. (Can be flexible with start and end time to accommodate qualified candidates schedule.) Will consider candidates to cover lessons on one of these days or several. Instructors will guide the participants through areas of diction, placement, music reading skills, etc. and will teach them 1-3 songs per 12 week session – at least 1 to be performed in a final voice recital. Candidates must have basic piano playing skills to accompany students in a final voice recital.

Next session begins in early October 2015 and runs 12 weeks. Lessons are taught in half hour increments at the following times. We will also be adding new instructors in January 2016.

Saturdays – looking for someone to teach 4-5 hours between 9am – 5pm.
Mondays – 4 – 9pm
Tuesdays – 4 – 9pm

Particularly interested in someone who is looking for a permanent teaching position that would continue beyond the initial session. Pay is $25 per hour. Candidates will not be responsible for recruiting their own students.
