Job Description / Duties

The Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Voice (Baritone or Tenor), to begin in Fall 2016. Primary responsibilities will include teaching applied voice and vocal pedagogy to undergraduate Bachelor of Music voice majors. Other teaching/administrative responsibilities as appropriate, including recruiting, advising, and university service. The successful candidate will be an active artist/teacher with a proven track record of recruiting and teaching top-level undergraduates, and will develop and maintain a national/international reputation for excellence in performance and pedagogy. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Candidates should possess a terminal degree and/or commensurate experience.
