Category: College/UniversityMusical Theater Instructor of Voice: The Boston Conservatory is seeking a fulltime studio voice teacher experienced in teaching collegiate-aged musical theater singers. No preference for voice-type, all applications will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching applied voice to undergraduate and graduate musical theater students (BFA and MFA); other responsibilities are possible according to the candidate’s interests and the needs of the program.
Successful candidate will maintain visibility as a performer, teacher, and recruiter.; possess a master’s degree and/or equivalent teaching or performance experience at the professional level; show evidence of successful recruiting and studio teaching at the university level.
Instructor will engage in service to the Conservatory, participate in Voice Department governance, attend auditions and recitals as required, and participate in student juries each semester. Appointment begins August, 2016.
