Job Description / Duties

The Boyer College of Music and Dance seeks an outstanding teacher with professional performance experience in at least one of the following genres: opera, oratorio, art song. Primary responsibilities will include studio instruction, teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level related to the candidate’s expertise, and recruiting voice and opera majors. The successful applicant must have an interest in offering students opportunities to explore aspects of the singing profession, including study of classical and musical theater voice and pedagogy at the undergraduate through doctoral levels.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Doctoral degree preferred (professional equivalency will be considered); outstanding performance and/or scholarly accomplishments; reputation as an outstanding teacher and musician. Tenor preferred, though applications from all voice parts will be considered

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
