Job Description / Duties

Teach applied voice and Class Voice. Additional responsibilities may include musicianship (aural skills), music appreciation, opera, musical theater or other areas of specialization according to candidate’s qualifications and departmental needs. Participation in recruitment and activities of the Department and the College are expected.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Doctorate preferred, Masters degree required. Evidence of successful voice teaching in a variety of styles. Strong technical and musical skills as a performer. Piano skills essential. Classroom teaching experience desired. Commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduates in a liberal arts setting. We encourage applicants with demonstrated success working with diverse populations.
