As a department in which performance and scholarship are equally valued parts of a liberal-arts college curriculum, we seek a colleague who shares these principles and, in addition to professional work as a vocalist, can build bridges across the campus community. To this end, we welcome candidates with varying disciplinary and curricular interests. A DMA degree or equivalent professional experience in lieu of terminal degree is expected. Experience teaching undergraduate students is also highly desired, as is dedication to a liberal arts educational environment. The successful candidate will have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving higher education for underrepresented students.
