Job Description / Duties

The Department of Music at Lebanon Valley College seeks an artist teacher of studio voice and musical theater for a non-tenure track 3 year renewable appointment. The successful candidate will teach voice lessons in a variety of styles, including classical, musical theater and other contemporary styles; teach voice lessons to non-voice majors; develop and teach one or two courses per year in musical theater; and advise a cohort of music majors.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Music, college-level teaching experience, experience teaching musical theater to students of various backgrounds and preparation, and functional piano ability. The ability to use computer-assisted instruction is also desirable.

Lebanon Valley College offers four music degrees: BS in Music Education, BM in Audio and Music Production, BA in Music Business, and BA in Music. The College’s student-run theater program, Wig and Buckle, has a nearly 80-year history at LVC and offers two plays, one musical, and one showcase annually.
