Job Summary:

The Department of Music at Carthage College seeks a Music Theatre Voice Specialist for an ongoing non-tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Music, beginning August, 2019. The Assistant Professor will assume varied responsibilities, as the program demands, including maintaining a private voice study of music theatre students and directing at least one main stage musical production each year.



Qualifications / Required Skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
•The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate terminal degree for the field of music theatre voice study, and should have a professional profile through performance or other professional activities.
•Keyboard skills sufficient to support instruction are required.
•A minimum of two years teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
•A collaborative workstyle and an interest in program building and recruitment is required.
