Job Description / Duties

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied commercial voice, commercial styles classes, and commercial vocal ensemble direction. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, recruitment, student mentoring, scholarly activity, and college and university service.

Significant experience in collegiate teaching and diverse commercial performance experience is required. As all Belmont undergraduates complete an innovative general education program with significant interdisciplinary components, Belmont University is particularly seeking applicants who can demonstrate the interest and ability to work collaboratively in course design and to teach interdisciplinary and topical courses in this program. Qualifications / Required Skills

DMA, DM, or doctorate plus experience required for tenure-track, Assistant Professor appointment. MM plus significant experience considered for non-tenure track Professor of Practice.
