Job Description / Duties

The University of South Carolina is seeking applicants for Assistant Professor of Voice (Tenor). This tenure-track, 9-month position will begin on August 16, 2020. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate applied voice students, with possible classroom teaching to include diction, song literature, survey of opera or vocal pedagogy. Maintain a high level of professional visibility at the regional, national and international level. Recruit students for the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Qualifications / Required Skills

An earned doctorate in music is preferred; an earned master's degree in music is required. Candidates should have an established record of teaching and demonstrate excellence as a performer.
