Job Description / Duties

Florida Atlantic University invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Voice, Tenor or Baritone, beginning August 2018.

Responsibilities: Teach applied voice; assist in recruiting and maintaining a quality studio comprised of graduate and undergraduate students; teach allied courses such as Vocal Pedagogy, Diction, Solo Literature, Vocal Chamber Music and Opera Scenes at the graduate and undergraduate level. Other duties may be assigned according to qualifications and college/department needs. Candidate will demonstrate the ability to continue active performance and research at the national or international level.

Qualifications / Required Skills


Qualifications: Doctorate in voice; four years teaching experience as a studio teacher and allied subjects at the collegiate level; active performance career and distinguished musical performance record at the national or international level.
