Immediate Need: Vocal Instructor (Rock/Pop) – School of Rock Medford
Medford, MA | $24/hr | Part-time

School of Rock Medford is looking for a dynamic Rock/Pop vocal instructor to join our team right away. If you love teaching everything from Paramore and Queen to Radiohead and The Killers—and want to inspire the next generation of singers—this gig is for you.

What You’ll Do
* Teach engaging private lessons and group rehearsals with a focus on rock and pop vocals
* Go beyond songs—help students master fundamentals, technique, and stage presence
* Support live show rehearsals and performances (students sing in real gigs!)
* Connect with students and parents regularly about progress and goals

Qualifications / Required Skills

What We’re Looking For
* Teaching experience (private or group)
* Strong knowledge of vocal technique and ability to teach across genres, especially rock and pop
* Positive, patient, and flexible teaching style
* Excellent communication and ability to engage with kids, teens, and parents
* A working musician with formal training preferred
* Passion for both performing and teaching
