Interlochen Arts Camp is currently seeking a Voice Area Coordinator to oversee all of the voice programs we offer during the summer months. This includes program and curriculum development, working with the Director of Music for Summer Programs to hire voice faculty (studio voice, opera, choir), guest artist curation, and repertoire selection. The Coordinator will also be engaged to steward Interlochen’s new one-week Classical Voice Intensive Program. The Coordinator will be expected to be on Interlochen’s campus during the summer season and take part in programmatic work and meetings occasionally between September and May.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work directly with Director of Music for Camp Programs on faculty hiring
Develop curriculum for Camp voice program to attract voice students of all ages to camp programs
Oversee the daily schedule, faculty schedules, and performance schedule
Promote repertoire selection that is diverse and inclusive
Seek the best use of materials, equipment and staff to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
Comply with ICA policies/procedures and acts as a good steward of ICA finances
Respect the culture, diversity and rights of all students, their families and the community
Prioritize duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
Perform other duties as assigned
Housing and Meals:
Faculty have a choice of on-campus or off-campus housing. On-campus housing is subject to availability. (early arrival/late stay requests, if available, will be paid in full by the employee). Lunch is included with your agreement and is available to you through our various cafeterias on campus.

Qualifications / Required Skills
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in music or equivalent professional experience is required
Significant national and international experience as an artist-performer
Ability to identify and engage guest artists of international repute
Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders in advocating for and highlighting the voice program of IAC
Ability to follow and execute specific verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to promote and maintain positive interaction with all internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate respect for cultural, ethnic, spiritual, and linguistic diversity and values including differences in personal goals, lifestyle choices and varying family backgrounds and histories
