The National Association of Teachers of Singing is delighted to present the national semifinalists for the 2026 NATS Artist Awards (NATSAA).
After several weeks of preliminary competitions across 14 NATS regions, the singers will travel to New York City for the next round, where the biennial NATSAA semifinals and finals are held before a wide audience of artist managers and industry professionals.
The semifinals and finals will be held in conjunction with the 2026 NATS Winter Workshop, Jan. 3-5, 2026, at Manhattan School of Music. Admission to the NATSAA finals is included with Winter Workshop registration.
General admission tickets for the NATSAA finals on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m. are $10 and may be purchased online. The finals competition will be held in Neidorff-Karpati Hall at Manhattan School of Music (130 Claremont Avenue New York, New York 10027).
The prestigious panel of adjudicators will include Elizabeth Futral, Margaret Lattimore, Laquita Mitchell, Christoph Ptack, Howard Watkins, and Steven White.
The 2026 NATSAA first prize winner will receive more than $13,000 in cash and prizes, including: $5,000 cash; a scholarship to attend the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria; a $1,000 gift certificate from Hal Leonard Corporation; and a solo recital at the 59th NATS national conference in San Antonio, Texas (July 3-7, 2026).
Second prize includes more than $6,000 in cash and prizes, including $4,000 cash; a scholarship to attend AIMS in Graz; and a $500 Hal Leonard gift certificate. Additional monetary awards are supported by the Foundation Heritage Fund of the NATS endowment.
