What's New > NATS Books editorial board welcomes new appointees

The National Association of Teachers of Singing announces the appointment of five new members to the NATS Books editorial board, which guides the association’s copublishing partnership with Bloomsbury.
“The NATS Books editorial board helps keep the NATS-Bloomsbury copublishing program focused and relevant to the needs of singers, singing teachers, and industry professionals,” said NATS Executive Director Allen Henderson. “This group’s depth of experience and thoughtful guidance helps ensure we are producing high-quality publications that reflect the values NATS strives to uphold.”
Since the copublishing agreement began in 2022, the partnership has produced nine books. It pairs the expertise and authority of NATS with Bloomsbury’s commercial resources as well as a global marketing and distribution network.
Led by Chair Brenda Smith, the editorial board is composed of experienced scholars and researchers representing a wide range of disciplines. These members support the development of forthcoming titles by soliciting and generating ideas for new works, evaluating proposals, and working with prospective authors to help shape their idea into a proposal that can be successfully published.
