SUMMARY:Rio Grande Chapter Conference
DESCRIPTION:Dear Rio Grande NATS Members:\n\nWe are gearing up for our In
 -Person Conference on Friday & Saturday, March 11-12, 2022 at the Un
 iversity of New Mexico. Registration opens February 1, 2022 and will re
 main open until February 15, 2022. All student information, repertoire,
  teacher registration, and fees must be submitted and paid by February 1
 5th.\n\nNo repertoire changes will be allowed through AuditionWare after
  February 15th. Repertoire changes may occur after the deadline via em
 ail to the Auditions Chair. The deadline for any repertoire changes (aft
 er registration closes) for those seeking approval from the Auditions Ch
 air will be March 9th. There will be a mandatory judges meeting on Marc
 h 11, 2022 at 3:00pm MST at the start of the conference. As a friendly 
 reminder, you must be available to judge and attend the mandatory judges
  meeting in order for your students to compete. \n\nIMPORTANT COVID-19 
 PROTOCOL INFORMATION: \n\nGuests to UNM are required to show proof of v
 accination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours. Masks are
  to be worn at all times by everyone regardless of vaccination status. M
 asks will be worn by singers at all times, including while singing/perfo
 rming. All participants and visitors will be required to wear medical g
 rade masks.\n\nCONFERENCE INFORMATION\n\nPlease be advised that most (if
  not all) of the preliminary rounds of auditions will occur on Friday, M
 arch 11th in the afternoon and evening (not on Satruday), so please plan
  your travel accordingly. \n\nOn Saturday March 12th, the morning will 
 begin with a masterclass from our guest clinician, Daniel Hunter-Holly, 
 the current auditions chair for the Texoma region. Following the morning
  masterclass, any needed semifinal rounds will occur. At the conclusion 
 of the semifinals will be the annual Rio Grande business meeting with th
 e live finals concert following directly after the meeting is adjourned.
 \n\nRio Grande NATS registration fees of $10 will be assessed for each p
 articipating teacher and $20 for each participating student. (Another $2
 0 will be charged for an additional category.) All fees are paid online
 . Teacher and student registration must be completed on this website.
  All current members of the Rio Grande Chapter are elligble to registe
 r 10 students for the conference. Pianists may play for up to 10 singers
  total. Please be advised that teachers are not allowed to play for thie

  NATS website just as your dues are processed and the funds will be forw
 arded to your chapter based on the registration deadlines your chapter s
 ets and coordinates with the NATS Executive Office. Using this manner wi
 ll also allow a detailed receipt to be stored in your member account for
  you to reference at any time for tax or reimbursement purposes. \n\n*
