SUMMARY:COVID Live Event - A Ghost of Christmas Past, a radio-drama
DESCRIPTION: \n\nlogo by Cody Butcher\n\nA Ghost of Christmas Past - pre
miering as a radio-drama\n\na femme-forward adaptation of Dickens' A Chr
istmas Carol\nAdapted by Ashlee Wasmund\nOriginal Music and Lyrics by Kr
 isten Hedberg\nwww.kristenhedberg.com\nwww.ashleewasmund.com\n\nIn A Gho
st of Christmas Past, we reimagine Fan, Scrooge’s younger sister who m
akes a brief appearance in the original story. Fan guides us throughout
this redemption story – a story about recovering something lost – so
mething frozen in time and \nforgotten.\n\nFor Scrooge, it is a journey
from brokenness and fragmentation to a path of integration and wholeness
.\n\nThe music blends flavors of British folk and Celtic sound into a cl
assical lyric style that is relevant to modern ears.\n\nThe principal ch
aracters are equally weighted, bringing the female characters integral t
o Scrooge’s life into balance with the male characters. It is this par
ticular imbalance in Scrooge that has separated him from his true self a
 nd a chance for family \nand love.\n\nStarting Nov. 26th and available t
