DESCRIPTION:The NATS National Mentoring Collaborative (NNMC) was launc
 hed in Fall 2019.  It is our continued intent to foster learning for ou
 r teachers by offering this collaborative approach to mentoring.  This 
 is an opportunity to improve your skills, collaborate with new people, a
 nd consider new strategies. We will focus on creating an interactive and
  inclusive environment with three components including:\n\n* Two one-hou
 r sessions with a mentor of your choice (see list and links below)\n\n* 
 Two shared videos of your teaching with your mentor teacher.\n\n* A coll
 aborative session with all currently enrolled mentees to discuss points 
 of interest.\n\nThe deadline for the Fall Session for mentee application
 s is October 1st with enrollment dates October 15-December 15th.  Sprin
 g dates will have an application deadline of February 15th with enrollme
 nt dates from March 1-May 15th, 2021. \n\nThose interested in being men
 tored are able to choose from a list of Mentor Teachers to aid in deve
 loping their own teaching pedagogy. The program also includes collaborat
 ive piano. The fee for Mentees is $250, from which a stipend will be pai

 t of Teaching is a complex topic involving content knowledge, communicat
 ion and organization skill, and curiosity about how people learn. Given 
 the variability in both singing pedagogy and how people acquire knowledg
 e, a teacher needs a wide repertoire of strategies to address his/her st
 udents. NATS believes strongly in the role of mentoring our teachers and
