In addition, our news and information from our host school, Berry College, will be updated on the GA NATS website very soon. \n\nImporta nt for 2024\n\n* Auditionware (the software we used two years ago) will be the online platform used for all NSA auditions this cycle\n\n* If you have registered through Auditionware in the past, your information shou ld still be saved, but please make sure you use accurate and up to date email addresses for yourself, your students AND pianists. You’ll be ab le to find the tab for Auditionware on the nats.org website when you log in to your member account.\n\n*Please register as soon as you can: Regi stration will open September 27th at 8am EST and close October 17th at 1 1:59pm EST for in-person auditions (all Classical and Musical Theatre ca tegories)\n\n*CM categories: All CM categories will be virtual. Regist ration will also open September 27th at 8am EST, and all videos must be submitted by October 4th at 11:59pm EST.\n\nResults will be posted on October 14th.\n\n* Video Submissions for CM categories\n\n* The Contempo rary Music Categories (Children through Adult categories) will be entire ly online for 2024.\n\n*Please make sure you read ALL guidelines for sub mitting videos (i.e. sound, use of microphone, etc.) and make sure there is nothing in the room that identifies your school or teacher. Performance details to come depending on t he number of performers who choose to attend. A mic and amp will be prov ided.\n\n* Resources: Full NSA guidelines for each category, rubrics, ju dging videos, etc.\n\n* ww.nats.org has a plethora of resources for th e auditions and judging.  Please start reading through these documents and rubrics so that you are comfortable with all categories and the reso urces available to help you judge or submit students this year.\n\nTeach ers, please use the judging training videos before our auditions so we a re consistent with judging at the state, regional, and national levels.\ n\n*We will discuss other news when we meet Friday, morning November 1s t at 8am! This meeting is mandatory for all judges. \n\n \n\n* Auditio n Weekend Specifics:\n\n*Once again: There is a mandatory, live meeting for all judges at 8am on Friday, November 1st. This meeting has import ant information for the day as well as information about future GA NATS activities. We will also go over any last -minute changes to the schedul e.\n\n* Auditions will start as early as 9:30am on Friday, Nov. 1th and 9am on Saturday, November 2nd.\n\n* The final concert will be on The ti me is TBA depending on the schedule.\n\nIf you have repertoire question s, please contact our Repertoire Consultant, Dr. Sandy Calloway at  ec alloway@yhc.edu\n\n5.American Negro Spirtual Categories: This year we w ill rotate to our ANS categories. Please follow the NSA guidelines for this category.\n\n6.Fees and Pianists:\n\n*Teacher Registration is $20; Student Registration is $15 (per category).\n\n*GA NATS Staff pianists: The fee for a staff pianist is $45 for 3 songs and $60 for 4 songs or m ore. This fee also covers any semifinals or finals in which the student might participate.\n\n*Pianists: We are always in need of excellent sta ff pianists for our 2 days of Auditions. If you have names of pianists w ho would be interested in being a staff pianist for the Fall Auditions p lease let me know ASAP! Pianists can play for 10 students a day.\n\n* Ag es and Minors:\n\n*Your student’s age on September 1st establishes the age of students entered for the entire NSA cycle.\n\n*For In-person aud itions: a parent or guardian must follow instructions and sign the Minor Chaperone form. Minor Chaperone form.\n\n* Masterclass! There will be a Masterclass with Roderick Dixon, Tenor, on Friday, November 1st at 5p m. http://www.tenorroddixon.com. Applications for the masterclass will also open on Sept. 27 and close on October 18th with those selected bei ng notified on October 28th.\n\n9.Judges not bringing students: If youâ €™ve missed your in-person experience with NATS but do not have any stud ents to enter this year, we’d still love to see you.
