DESCRIPTION:Starting in September, NJ NATS will be presenting the Second 
 Sunday Series, which is a series of repertoire presentations on literatu
 re from Latin American and black composers. Each second Sunday of the mo
 nth, we will invite a professional from the world of singing to present 
 on a subject in their field, virtually via Zoom. Each class will be an h
 our long.\n\nOur first presenter is soprano and musicologist, Dr. Patric
 ia Caicedo, who is a leading interpreter of Latin American and Iberian a
 rt song. She is an expert in the study and performance of songs in this 
 repertory, having published 9 books on the subject. She is also an avid 
 performer of these works, having performed all over the world in additio
 n to founding and directing the Barcelona Festival of Song, which focuse
 s on the performance and study of Latin American and Iberian art song.\n
