In the 1990s Vaughn wrote the “Currents” column for NATS Inter Nos, focusing on current pedagogy trends and the new internet technology. During that time Vaughn was also a writer and editor for the original New York based Classical Singer Magazine, contributing 40+ articles and interviews. One of those interviews was with the legendary voice pioneer and author Meribeth (Bunch) Dayme, PhD, author of Dynamics of the Singing Voice. This was the beginning of a twenty five year friendship and collaboration that continued until Dr. Dayme’s death in 2019.
