Bio: Recently relocated from the Washington DC area where I have performed and taught private voice for the past 37 years in my home studio and at Flint Hill Prep School in Oakton, VA. I returned to Holland, MI where my home studio is relocated. Emphasis is on developing a healthy, optimum vocal production regardless of genre of music being sung and developing a strong stage presence, communication, and presentation skills. Clients have included professional and student classical art song/opera singers, professional pop/rock recording artists, singing actors in the field of musical theatre, and voiceover artists, as well as actors (coaching on monologue prep as well) and business/speaking professionals in various fields who wish to improve their speaking voices and presence. Emphasis is on a natural and free breath and voice production which results in an ease, agility and strength of the singing voice. My qualifications include both Bachelors and Masters degrees in voice and opera performance and post-graduate study of voice for speech and stage approaches and commercial voice techniques. If you have any questions, I would be delighted to speak with you. Students accepted from upper high school ages through adult. Mature younger students may be considered on an individual basis.
