Bio: I am an unabashed technician who works to get the best possible sound from the student's natural voice. I am currently a member of the Applied Lessons Faculty in a private school in Atlanta which has an exceptionally strong program in fine arts. I started teaching in a summer program for gifted high school students, so this is particularly enjoyable for me. I also have a background in rehabilitating damaged and/or aging voices. Learning to sing has to be a cooperative venture, so I try to keep the atmosphere casual and relaxed. I've been singing for 50 years, and my own voice is still healthy, so I must be doing something right.
