Bio: Soprano Jane Munson-Berg has sung leading roles and solo appearances with Alte Oper Frankfurt, Munich's Residenz Theatre, European Opera Genval, Asolo (Sarasota) Opera, Tulsa Opera, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Dorian Opera Theatre, Mississippi Opera, Baton Rouge Opera, New York's Center for Contemporary Opera, New England Symphony (at Carnegie Hall), Florida Symphony, Arkansas Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Rockland County Symphony, Springfield Symphony, Independence Symphony. After singing ten leading roles with Springfield Regional Opera she was Artistic Director from 2006-2009. She was Assistant Professor of Voice at Evangel University for ten years and Instructor of Voice and Opera there for thirteen years, Instructor of Voice at SBU and Missouri State University. She was a Regional Finalist and a Florida State winner in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and was named Outstanding Apprentice Artist at The Santa Fe Opera (1986). She is in her second year as Assistant Professor of Voice and Opera at SBU, and is married to Dr. Robert Berg, Professor of Theology at Evangel University.
