Bio: The Greater Des Moines Area is a wonderful place to grow through the Arts, especially vocal music. I have been a private voice instructor for over 30 years and specialize in working with young people (I will accept students as young as 8 and prior piano is preferred). I have enjoyed teaching voice at Drake University both in the Music Department and the Musical Theater Department for many years and producing operas with The Opera Project Des Moines. I moved to Iowa in 1996 to be choral director at WDM Valley High School and truly loved my time there and with that I carry the experience of All-State auditions and Solo/Ensemble competition. Students under my guidance have won multiple national, regional and state NATS auditions and have launched successful professional vocal careers in opera, musical theater, choral music, jazz and teaching. I only instruct a maximum of 25 students per week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Please email or call for more information.
