Bio: Dr. Ellen Denham is an accomplished performer, educator, director, and writer. She currently directs the opera workshop and teaches voice at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. Her practice as a pedagogue and director involves improvisation, a student-centered approach to learning, and drawing upon her extensive knowledge and training in multiple musical genres. She believes in giving voice to the imagination of her collaborators and her students to be a part of creating new opera for the 21st century.
