Bio:

I have been teaching voice in my private studio in Hancock, NH for many years after launching a career as an active performer in opera, oratorio, and recital in the United States, including Carnegie Hall, and Europe, which I continue to pursue and was directed by Maestro Helmuth Rilling, Dennis Russell Davies, Robert Cyr, Laszlo Heltay, John Harbison, David Hoose and many other extraordinary conductors. I welcome all ages and levels of musicianship.

My degree is in Music and Art from the University of Central Missouri with continued opera study at the New England Conservatory of Music and in Master Classes and individual coaching with Frederica VonStade, Helmuth Rilling, Lindsey Christiansen, Will Graham, Mme Dusi Mura, and the benefit of many other knowledgeable coaches.

I have also been teaching voice at Keene State College in Keene, NH for twenty-two years focusing on vocal health, breath management. diction, placement, phrasing, expression and musicianship, and the joy of singing! Styles include classical (opera, oratorio, art songs), jazz and blues, folk, musical theater.

Early inspiration is from ballet study with Irene Fokine and, occasionally, Alexandra Fedorova, piano studies with Howard Kasschau and Dr.Donald Bohlen. Having been so fortunate to travel as a vocal soloist to many venues in the USA in opera, oratorio, and recital, including Carnegie Hall, and the world, I was exposed to many wonderful people and cultures. In addition, was the honor of singing with amazing musicians and conductors such as Helmuth Rilling, Dennis Russell Davies, Robert Cyr, Laszlo Heltay, John Harbison, David Hoose and many other extraordinary conductors.
