Bio: Hello! I help all of my voice students gain a true and correct understanding of how their voices work best. Over my 20 year teaching career, I've worked with every voice type, all ages, classical, pop, and of course musical theater. My students frequently study across genres, because I have always believed that being versatile is the highest goal. I've performed classical solos with choirs, emotive musical theater solos, and I've been performing live with my band doing classic pop rock hits and playing keyboard for over a decade. You'll learn how to finally eliminate pitch anxiety and pitch concept, and you'll come to truly understand and command your vocal technique! We'll delve into the subtext of your pieces, and you'll gain the confidence to express your inner-self authentically through your music! My Poway studio is a bright and cheerful place where we will build upon your own talent in a friendly atmosphere. Beginner through advanced students and performers are welcome! I teach online too of course. I hold a Bachelors of Music with an emphasis in classical voice from Belmont University in Nashville, and a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University also in Nashville.
