Bio:

Corbin is an in-demand singing actor, actor and clinician based in the Philadelphia area. His favorite roles include The Baker from Into the Woods, Archibald Craven from The Secret Garden, and Dan from Next to Normal. Corbin has been seen on Philadelphia stages such as the Arden Theatre, The Walnut Street Theatre, as well as the NY production of TruckStop: The Musical. He can be heard on the cast recordings of The Kids Left, The Dog Died...Now What?, TruckStop: The Musical, Tattooed Angel and 3Divas3.

As a Teaching Artist, Corbin runs The Vocal Actor w/ Corbin Abernathy, a singing, acting, accent reduction and public speaking private studio in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. www.vocalactor.com. He is also is the Head Teacher Trainer and Curriculum Specialist for Philly After School Activities Partnerships, and has served on the faculty of the Walnut Street Theatre and Philly Senior Stage. He has also presented workshops and masterclasses in voice and acting at the Minuetto Music Festival, the Educational Theatre Association National Conference, Senior Theatre USA as well as in the local Philadelphia area. Corbin also Corbin holds a B.M.- Musical Theatre from the University of Miami and an M.Perf.A.-Drama from Oklahoma City University and is a proud member of the Actors' Equity Association, the National Association of Teacher's of Singing, the Voice and Speech Trainer's Association and the Educational Theatre Association.
