After winning two scholarships(Maria Callas Foundation and Lilian Voudouris and continued her studies in singing with Dr. Charles Kellis and later under the teaching of soprano Ruth Falcon. She has won several prizes and awards in competitions including the “Maria Callas” international competition in Athens-Greece(from where she also got the title of the best Greek Artist), the “Palm Beach Opera” competition in Florida, the “Maria Callas” foundation competition in Athens-Greece, the “Rose Ponselle” international competition in New York City, the Marseille international competition in France etc. She did her debut in Summer Festivals all over Greece participating in concerts and recitals with artists of the National Opera of Greece, getting great reviews. She has participated in many concerts with Bass-Baritone Simon Estes in Spain and USA, singing parts from famous operas and oratorios. In Greece she has a steady collaboration with the Greek National Opera since year 2000 participating in many productions singing leading parts like “Queen of the Night” from Mozart’s Opera “The Magic Flute’’, “Olympia” from Offenbach’s “Les Contes D’Hoffmann”, “Atalanta’’ from Handel’s “Serse”, “Marfa” from Rimski-Korsakof’s “The Tsar’s Bride”, ‘’Olga’’ from Giordano’s ‘’Fedora’’, ‘’Clorinda’’ from Rossini’s ‘’La Cenerentola’’, ‘’Gabriele’’ from Offenbach’s ‘’La Vie Parisienne’’, ‘’Zerlina’’ from Mozart’s of Don Giovanni, ‘’Adele’’ and “ Rosalinde” from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, ‘’ Traviata’’ from Verdi’s ‘’La Traviata’’, ‘’Nedda’’ from Leoncavallo’s ‘’I Pagliacci’’,’’Lustige Witwe’’ from Lehar’s Lustige Witwe,etc. She has also participated in productions of Megaron Concert Hall singing works of very important Greek composers like the titled part of ‘’Momo’’ from A.Baltas’s modern Opera ‘’Momo’’, the part of ‘’Olympias’’ from Astrinides’s ‘’The Early Years of Alexander the Great’’, the main Soprano part in N.Xanthoulis’s ‘’The Shellfish Giant’’. She has also sung the “Stabat Mater” of Rossini , Beethoven’s ‘’Ninth Symphony’’, Dvorak’s ‘’Te Deum’’, the ‘’Requiem’’ of Faure, Mozart’s ‘’Missa’’ in Minor C, Bruckner’s ‘’Te Deum’’, many Concerts and Galas at Thessaloniki’s and Athens’s Megaron Concert Halls with arias from Turandot(Liu) ,Rigoletto, Russalka, Madama Butterfly, Barbiere di Siviglia, La Rondine, Cosi fan tutte, Nozze di Figaro, Romeo and Julliet, La Boheme (Mimi, Musetta), Lucia di Lammermoor, Il Barbiere di Seviglia, Carmen(Micaela), Semiramide (Semiramide) and many others under the instructions of the most prestigious conductors and stage directors and the most important Orchestras of Greece. She has also performed lots of Musical concerts, Jazz and Contemporary, all over Greece. Recently she did a concert in Odessa(Ukraine),singing Puccini’s arias, under the music direction of Niklas Willen. Future engagements include the part of “Fuchs” from Janacek’s opera “Das schlaue fuchslein” with the National Opera of Greece and concerts all over Greece. She teaches singing and diction for at least 15 years private, in well known Greek conservatories( National conservatory of Greece, Hellinikon etc.) and theater productions. She teaches the innovative technique YogaYourVoice, and she is a certified Buteyko Breathing Instructor.
