Bio:

"Mrs. Brittany,” a lyric Mezzo-Soprano, earned her Music degree in Voice from The Manhattan School of Music. As part of NYU's Professional Studies Program, she is studying Vocology (a certificate program in Voice Science). Undergraduate studies in Music Education at San Diego State University and Musical Theater at CAP21/NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Her first paid professional job/career began at the age of 10 with the Orlando Opera Company's children's chorus ("Tosca," "Die Zauberflote," and "Hansel and Gretel".) Since then, she has worked in the national tours of "Scrooge" (Mrs. Cratchit), "Cam Jansen" (Aunt Molly) written by Nell Benjamin and Larry O’Keefe of Legally Blonde, and with the Glenn Miller orchestra in "In the Mood." Favorite regional credits include: "South Pacific" (Nellie), "A Chorus Line" (Cassie), "The Fantasticks!" (Luisa), "The Mikado" (Yum-Yum) and "The Beggar's Opera" (Lucy Lockit). In concert, Mrs. Fyvolent has sung with the NYC's Village Light Opera, the Bard SummerScape Festival's production of Schumann's "Genoveva", the American Symphony Orchestra at Lincoln Center, the LA Master Chorale at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and as the Alto soloist for the Pasadena Master Chorale in Handel's "Messiah" and Copland's "In the Beginning." She resides in Los Angeles with her husband.

As a teacher and director, she has worked with Young Audiences New York, Little Maestros and MSM's Musical Theater Ensemble. She enjoys sharing her passion for music with toddlers, children, teens and adults alike. As a vocal health advocate, she helps students become aware of how they are using their voice and helps them attain true freedom in singing. She is patient, fun and her students excel through her positive spirit and encouragement. Having studied piano since the age of 5, she is also able to accompany her students.
