Erin is an active voice teacher and classical, musical theater, and choral performer in the Tri-Cities area of Michigan. She was raised outside of Seattle, Washington and, upon her return from graduate school, spent 3 years as one of the youngest members of the Seattle Opera Chorus, along with teaching a studio of 15 students out of the O'Shields Studio in Maple Valley, WA. Her performing resume features many operatic and musical theater roles including Musetta, Susanna, Despina, Laurey Williams (Oklahoma), Lusia Contini (Nine), and Woman 1 (Closer Than Ever). Erin believes that the fundamentals of "classical" technique, with a primary focus on freedom of the breath, will provide students the ability to pursue any vocal style in a way that is truly expressive and healthy.
