Bio: Caitlin Moore, mezzo-soprano, is known for her elegant and confident stage presence in concert, opera, and musical settings. She has been praised for her "magnificent vocal and dramatic talent" (La Presse) and "aplomb and distinction" (Opera Canada). In addition to her active performance career, Caitlin currently serves full time on the music faculty at Colorado Mesa University teaching voice and diction for singers, is pursuing a Doctorate of Arts in voice performance with a secondary in voice pedagogy at the University of Northern Colorado, and runs a thriving online private voice studio. Previously, she served on the music faculties of Covenant College and Chattanooga State Community College. Caitlin received a Master of Music in voice and opera performance at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University, and Bachelors of Music and Music Education at Lee University. Recently, she was honored to be a 2021 National Association of Singing Intern and currently serves as the NATS CO-WY Co-Vice President and Auditions Chair. She was certified in all three levels at Shenandoah University’s Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute in 2019 as a University of Northern Colorado Graduate Student Association Grant Winner and attended New England Conservatory’s Acoustic Vocal Pedagogy Workshop and Online Teaching Technology Workshop in 2020 as a Lee University Young Alumni Grant Winner. She is a dynamic advocate for arts outreach having served in administrative positions with such organizations as The Glimmerglass Festival, L'Opéra de Montréal, Opera Tennessee, and the Tennessee Chamber Chorus. Caitlin spends her free time with her family, John and Lettuce (the cat), and they enjoy outdoor adventuring.
