Title: Voice Instructor

Bio:

My name is Isabella Ferrari (she/they), and I'm a private voice teacher specializing in transgender voices. I'm committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel welcome and supported.

I've been teaching voice for eight years and have worked with students of all levels and backgrounds. My approach to teaching is grounded in vocal exploration, and I believe that every student has the potential to find a voice that fits them and achieves their vocal goals.

As a voice teacher specializing in trans voice work, I understand that voice can be a significant source of dysphoria for many trans individuals. I'm passionate about helping my students achieve a voice that aligns with their gender identity and expression. I offer a range of services, including voice feminization/masculinization, non-binary voice work, and vocal health and wellness.

In addition to my work with trans students, I'm also a performer in the Chicago area, and I've had the privilege of performing with The Rolling Stones and Kristin Chenoweth and at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. My performance experience informs my teaching, and I love sharing my insights and experiences with my students.

My goal as a voice teacher is to help my students develop a sustainable voice while also fostering their individuality and artistic expression. I provide personalized instruction tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Additionally, I am a neurodivergent individual and teach from a trauma-informed lens. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends, dancing, making visual art, and exploring the city. These activities help me stay energized and inspired, which in turn helps me be a better teacher.

If you're interested in learning more about my teaching or would like to schedule a lesson, please fill out my contact form linked on the top right-hand corner of the screen. I look forward to hearing from you and working together to achieve your vocal goals.
