Bio:

Teaching private voice and piano lessons has become my passion. It is my goal to help anyone who has the desire and dream of a better voice or to play piano.  Whether it be a bigger range, a cleaner, more healthy voice, audition prep or to add more songs to your repertoire, Vocal Power Academy of Las Vegas will help you the way it helped me! I am the Director of the Vocal Power Academy of Las Vegas, a powerful and freeing vocal method developed and founded by Elisabeth Howard, formerly of Pepperdine University. I combine her amazing pedagogy with my own personal experience and journey to my best voice, and this will help YOU create the voice you have always dreamed of!

Let me help you really turn up the volume of your public speaking work or voice over artistry. No more dry voices, tired voices and worse, hoarse voices! I completely understand, I have been there, too!! I know the feeling of waking up and wondering how in the heck you are going to perform or teach, that day.

I have a degree in Vocal Performance from Citrus College, where I was the first female student director of the nationally known Citrus Singers.  In addition, I have received a Specialist Certificate from the Berklee School of Music in Music and Jazz Theory. I am currently an online Julliard student. I'm so excited! I continue to study privately myself, voice, acting, performance, and piano with my coach and mentor who is a former Broadway performer and is a Julliard graduate. I perform as a solo artist, with my jazz band and with my all-female vocal jazz trio, Dangerous Curves. I have a complete perspective as a performer and teacher.  I know what it's like out there and I am always looking for ways to share what I learn with you.

From beginners to professionals, Vocal Power Las Vegas ensures a well rounded singer or public speaker with an interesting and varied repertoire, sight reading, audition prep, college prep and most importantly, healthy and proper vocal technique. Audition Prep and Show Prep are my specialties! I have literally 1000s of songs and since I play piano, I can help you with your song choices, audition arrangements and proper music book set up for complete audition and show success. Knowing HOW to practice is a huge part of what we do. My practice techniques will guarantee that you will be prepared for every situation you come across, from last minute sit ins, band gigs, cabaret and book shows. 

Online voice lessons now available! Using the beauty of technology, I pop in to your living room or your hotel room and you can immediately start becoming the singer or speaker you dreamed of, from anywhere in the world! I have several students away at University and even on ships who "drop in", courtesy of Zoom, to get help with a vocal issue or song. Drop me a line or give me a call for more information.

Piano lessons are also available, I have designed a hybrid approach to piano that will have you playing in no time! I teach beginners through advanced with a personalized and customized approach to each student.
