Bio:

Nora received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Toronto, and her Master’s Degree from Manhattan School of Music. Nora has studied with world renowned teachers, Mary Morrison, Patricia Kern and Mignon Dunn for Voice and Piano Pedagogy with Anne Farber and her teaching mentor Paul Sheftel. Nora is an official Steinway educational partner, an active member of the Music Teachers National Association, American College of Musicians and the Piano Teachers Congress of New York. Nora is a former faculty member of the Early Childhood Department at the Diller-Quaile School of Music, NYC. Nora also completed Dalcroze Comprehensive Musical Training at Lucy Moses School, Kaufman Center NYC and the Integrative Sound and Music Facilitator Training Program from the New York Open Center. Nora structured filming, curation and archived a broad range of clinical sessions while volunteering for over two years at the Nordoff - Robbins Center for Music Therapy, NYU and is a member of the International Association for Music and Medicine.  Nora is a proud graduate of the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training, NYC and has extensive clinical experience which has guided and enhanced her approach to music coaching, particularly with students who wish to overcome performance anxiety.

Nora teaches from a studio conveniently located in midtown Manhattan and is also willing to travel for in home lessons within a 3 mile radius of 10016. Please contact instructor directly!
