Brittany Chanell Johnson is a native of Augusta, Georgia and the product of two creatives – an actor and a singer. From sanctuary to stage she was immersed in the arts from day one. Brittany pursued her education in music by earning a Music Education degree and a Masters of Music (Vocal Performance). She has proven herself as an operatic and musical theater performer, always sure to bring her truth to the stage.
As an educator, Brittany has transformed the performance abilities of many organizations. She is the founder of OnStage Performing Arts Collective (OnStagePAC.com), a performance-based training ground for young people interested in music, dance, and theater arts. Her teaching, directing, and coaching styles intertwine discipline, encouragement, and enthusiasm; connecting with students on a personal level and shaping each young artist into a skilled performer.
In addition to her work with OPAC, Ms. Johnson serves as a private voice instructor, workshop facilitator, and singer throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. She is honored to serve on the music staff of Metropolitan AME as a consultant, choir director, and worship leader.
