Bio: Joshua Manuel, a long-time lover of music, has been singing in choirs since he was in kindergarten. He started his college music education at Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina, and is a graduate of Wright State University with a degree in vocal performance. He is finishing up his Master of Vocal Pedagogy at Westminster Choir College. A seasoned performer, Joshua has participated in concerts in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Scotland, UK. He performed the role of Orson in the Wright State University production of Too Many Sopranos; as well as Giuseppe in the Opera Creations production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers”; he has also performed select scenes from Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” and “The Marriage of Figaro.” Joshua is also an active composer of instrumental, choral, and solo works, and his unique arrangement of “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence” was performed at Westminster Presbyterian Church and at Wright State University. In addition to teaching Josh is the founder of voicescience.org.
