Title: Voice Instructor

Bio: Queade (pronounced kwee ah day) Norah is a proud Philadelphia born, Jersey raised vocalist with a passion for teaching young performers how to navigate their instrument in a healthy and authentic manner. While her journey as a performer started early on, her path into vocal pedagogy began in 2011 while interning with Lisa Willson of Willson Vocal Academy. She established a foundation in utilizing the philosophy of Marchesi Bel Canto techniques to aid in teaching students how to "free the voice". In addition to her apprenticeship with Lisa, Queade utilized her time at Berklee College of Music to complement her skill-set by learning about business, social media, and contracts. Her expertise lie in the following genres: Musical Theatre, Gospel, R&B, Jazz and Pop. In addition to teaching, Queade has congruently pursued her career as a performer in NYC where she's performed at renowned venues and booked gigs such as tours, workshops, and Off-Broadway. Some of her credits include: Sista's the Musical, Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom, Aida, Dreamgirls, Ragtime, and Hairspray to name a few. There is no one size fits all method, so each student receives an individual experience when working with Queade.
