Bio:

New to the DMV area, Dr. Elizabeth Turner serves as the Director of Performing Arts at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School. Dr. Turner currently sings with the Schola Cantorum at St. Matthew’s Cathedral and cantors among various Catholic parishes in the region. Recent directing credits include: Mamma Mia, Cinderella, Fame, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell, and Freaky Friday. She enjoys performing a variety of styles from classical choral music, sacred music, Opera and oratorios, to musical theater, jazz, and the Great American Songbook.

Favorite past performances include Disney Live! (Italian tour), Norwegian Cruise Lines/Nickelodeon at Sea (Italy and Spain), Carnival Cruise Lines (Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and the Caribbean), Ogunquit Playhouse (ME), RWS and Associates (NY), Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, Texas Family Musicals, Amore Opera (NY), NY Lyric Opera, Opera Viva (Italy), and Regina Opera (NY).

Degrees obtained in Vocal Performance from the Berklee College of Music (B.M. and M.M.) and a Doctorate in Education from St. Thomas University (Ed.D.).
