Title: Voice Instructor, Worship Leader

Bio: Laurie Lee Cosby holds a Doctor of Worship Studies from Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Tulsa, and a Bachelor of Choral Music Education from Dallas Baptist University. She is certified in Vocal Power, a crossover Singing Method by Elisabeth Howard. Dr. Cosby teaches voice at Studio Bella Voce and formerly at East Texas Baptist University, LeTourneau University, Texas Women's University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has also conducted choirs on the collegiate level and handbells on the seminary level. Dr. Cosby has also been a paid interim music minister and worship leader at various churches of all styles. She is also the co-author of "A Most Rewarding Independent Music Studio" and has been a national, regional, and university lecturer on the subject of Studio Business. She also gives university lectures and workshops on CCM vocal technique. Dr. Cosby has had numerous winners at NATS in the high school, college, and adult divisions and in Classical, Musical Theater and CCM. She has had numerous students nominated for Betty Buckley, Tommy Tune, and Column Awards. She has sent high school students to NYU, OCU, AMDA, CCM Cincinnati, OU, and TCU. Dr. Cosby has enjoyed performing as lead actress, guest soloist, and featured soloist in many venues in both Classical, Musical Theatre, and CCM settings.
