Bio: Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Sabrowsky and I am thrilled that you are interested in learning more about your voice, musicianship, and the art of singing. I guide my voice students on the journey of discovering their highest musical and performing potential, led by my real-world accomplishments and experience from both the stage and classroom settings. I maintain a private voice studio, have taught at the esteemed voice department at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and presently teach voice to both music and Worship Arts majors at Grand Canyon University. I have experience and enjoy teaching all genres of voice but specialize in Contemporary Musical Theater, Classical repertoire, and Worship music. I moved to the Valley in 2018 to join the Marion Roose Pullin Arizona Opera Studio where I performed leading roles including Jane in Riders of the Purple Sage, Musetta in La bohème, and Miss Lightfoot in Fellow Travelers, among others. Other performing credits include The Phoenix Symphony, the Atlanta Opera, the Aspen Opera Center, and various European summer programs. In addition to personal study of voice with some of the greatest vocal pedagogues in the country for 15+ years, I have over twenty years of piano experience and an advanced knowledge of music theory, literature, and foreign languages. In my free time, I love spending time watching football and playing board games with my husband. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about voice lessons or about me as a prospective teacher. Student references available upon request.
